ACCU-SPEC, Race Timing and Race Management Service, founded in 2002, was formed to meet Race Directors needs to bring their finish line procedures up to date with the latest in Computerized Results and Scoring.
ACCU-SPEC is owned by Richard Arsenault. With over 35 years experience in Race Timing and Race Management, 30 years as President of The Empire One Running Club and 9 years as a Boy’s and Girl’s High School Cross-Country Coach.
With this experience, Race Directors are assured their event is a quality event that keeps the participants returning year after year.
We are presently timing road races and collegiate cross-country races in four states that include, MA, CT, VT and NY.
The following items are included in an ACCU-SPEC Timed Event:
· Software Compatibility
Our software can be customized to meet the events requirements, i.e. Road Races, Cross-Country Races and Triathlons. In addition, Divisional Awards in any age groups, Team Results, Special Categories, etc. are all tailored to meet the events needs
. Electronic Chip Timing
We use The MYLaps Bib Tag Timing System. This is the system of choice for The Boston Marathon and many more World Class Events.
· Conventional Event Timing
Results and Award Listings. Entry and Finish line data is tabulated to produce fast and accurate race results and award listings. Race number pull tags are used and combined with Select Timing to insure entrants are guaranteed Fast Accurate Results. Results tabulated by computers, are checked and printed shortly after the end of the race. Partial result listings in sheets of 50 can be posted while the event is in progress.
· Equipment
Digital Race Clock, mounted on a 7 Foot Tripod, Finish Line Signs or Finish Line Inflatable Bridge and Stanchions with Colorful Pennant Ropes and Traffic Cones are all included to give your race a Professional Appearance. Video cameras are provided to insure successful race results and provide a complete Back-Up System.
· Entry Form Design
Assistance is provided with Entry Form Design, to insure that all necessary race data is collected for use at the event.
· Finish Line Volunteer Instructions
On Race Day, all volunteers working the Finish Line are given proper training to insure a smooth orderly flow of contestants.
· Result Posting
Results are posted promptly at the race, and on the worldwide web at www.accu-specracing.com
